Scholarships

CDEP StudentsStudents who are interested in the engineering, geology, geophysics or health physics dual degree programs may apply for competitive-based CDEP scholarships. These scholarships cover tuition, fees, room and board, and a book stipend. For Georgia students only, scholarships are coordinated with the HOPE Scholarship; that is, the tuition is paid by HOPE, with all other costs being covered by CDEP. Non-Georgia students’ tuition is paid directly by CDEP. To qualify for a CDEP scholarship, each student must complete a college preparatory high school curriculum, have a SAT score of 1100 or above (or an equivalent 26 on the ACT or above), and a “B” or above grade point average.

CDEP Scholarships covers the cost of matriculation at Fort Valley State University, Georgia Tech, University of Nevada-Las Vegas, University of Oklahoma, and the University of Texas-Austin.
