2. click Entrance & Exit Counseling “Go”

This free six-hour class is a Georgia Department of Community Affairs certified homebuyer education program designed for first-time homebuyers who want to improve their home buying savvy. The event will be held in the Houston County Extension Office, Suite 332, 801 Main St., Perry, Ga.

Topics will include: building good credit, budgeting and reducing debt, preventing foreclosure, choosing a real estate agent and selecting the best loan.

For rising ninth graders with 3.0 GPA and recommendation letters. Creates a continuous pipeline of minority and female students into the Cooperative Developmental Energy Program.
