College of Education Induction Ceremony

Location: Pettigrew Center

Hosted by The College of Education, this program is held yearly to recognize and induct students into the College of Education who have met requirements to become future proficient educators. The speaker for this year’s event will be the 2014 Teacher of the Year, Miss Jemellah Coes. Miss Coes is a Special Education English Language Arts teacher at Langston Chapel Middle School in Bulloch County where she has spent her entire career. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Education with a concentration in Special Education and her Master’s degree in Education with a concentration in Teaching and Learning from Georgia Southern University.

This event will also feature scholarship awards to two deserving recipients from the Justine Kitchens Endowment Fund for the College of Education Scholars. The program will also have a special recognition for retired educators and FVSU Alumni. Everyone is invited.
