Eady, Denise W.
Position: Director, Strategic Initiatives & Special Assistant for Compliance
Ms. Eady has spent 20 plus years working in the public sector affording her a broad background of regulatory compliance experience from social service investigator, child support enforcement, IRS customer service/collections agent and DOD budget/fiscal agent. She earned her Master of Human Relations (MHR) in December 2005 from the University of Oklahoma and her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Criminal Justice in August 1998 from Valdosta State University, Valdosta, Georgia. She was awarded the Commanders Award for Exceptional Civilian service while employed with U.S. Army NATO in Mons, Belgium. Eady began her career at FVSU in June 2007, with the Office of Sponsored Programs as the Post-Awards Coordinator. She has been the NSF Compliance Officer since May 2010 and the EEO/AA & Title IX responsibilities were vested to her in 2011.
On August 6, 2013, FVSU's president, Dr. Ivelaw Lloyd Griffith announced Eady's appointment as the director of the newly formed Office of Strategic Initiatives.
