July 11, 2012 – Graduates of Fort Valley State University will convene in Crystal City,Va. for the 22nd Biennial FVSU National Alumni Association, Inc. Conference from July 19-21. This year’s theme is “Connections for a Lifetime— Building and Delivering the Future Together.” The event will be hosted by the District V chapters of the FVSU NAA, Inc.
“The biennial conference provides a forum to focus on the association’s mission, which is to develop a strong alumni base to support the university, transact business of the association, provide enlightening workshops and provide networking opportunities with other alumni,” said Clara Braswell, senior director of the university’s Office of Career and Alumni Services.
During the event, Wildcats will attend workshops designed to advance the institution, elect new officers and enjoy social activities that include a tour of historic sites in the nation’s capital.
