FVSU students attend 2015 Career Fair.

December 11, 2015 – Thirty-five Fort Valley State University students recently attended the Career Opportunities 2015 Job Fair held at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Marietta, GA. The FVSU career fair provided students with an opportunity to meet with representatives from businesses, corporations, graduate/professional schools and federal agencies to discuss internship and employment opportunities.

The bus trip was sponsored by the Georgia Careers Consortium, made up of 24 small colleges and universities within the state that include Fort Valley State University, Mercer University, Middle Georgia State University, Clayton State University and others, whose enrollments are less than 5,000. FVSU has been a member of the consortium since 1992. More than 97 companies turned out. After the career fair, several FVSU students were contacted for interviews with various companies.
