January 8, 2016 – Fort Valley State University released two new major improvements online during 2015. During the spring, a newly redesigned site was debuted online. During the fall, a new app was released to help students and alums keep in touch with  all the great events happening at FVSU. Here is a list of a technology stories for 2015.

  • FVSU launches new website – Fort Valley State University today announced the launch of a new website that not only features more engaging content and eye-catching design, but also is crafted to be more user-friendly, interactive and responsive.The upgrade is part of the institution’s ongoing efforts to enhance its brand locally, nationally and internationally, said Pamela Berry-Johnson, FVSU director of Marketing and Communications.   • FVSU releases new app – In honor of its 120th year, Fort Valley State University is launching a new mobile app that will put the university’s important resources at the touch of a fingertip. The new features will allow Wildcat students to find out about their academic progress, purchase tickets, and help Wildcat supporters purchase tickets and give to the university. The app is free. Dr. Jessica Bailey, interim president for FVSU, said the new app will help Wildcat supporters stay connected with the university using the latest technology.
