“Introduction to Small Scale Recirculating Aquaculture Systems” Workshop

The National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) predict the demand for seafood will increase by 70 percent over the next 30 years. This strain on natural fisheries could mean that more aquaculture operations will be needed to increase production.

To help people interested in aquaculture production, Dr. Patricia Duncan, director of the Georgia Center for Aquaculture Development at Fort Valley State University, will conduct an aquaculture workshop.

Location: Agricultural Technology Conference Center • 46 Camp John Hope Road  • Fort Valley.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

FEE: $5
