The individual hired will be required to teach upper division courses in his/her specialties, be prepared to teach introductory courses in criminal justice and to teach classes at a remote location as necessary for program development. Other duties will include committee work, working with or presenting programs to local community and legal organizations, recruiting and advising students, research and publication, grant writing, and advising a student organization.
Juris Doctorate, university/college teaching experience, excellent communication skills, and experience in working with students individually or in groups to prepare for the LSAT examination. Licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia and U.S. District courts, experience with student organizational activities and successful grant writing are strongly preferred.
