Service and Maintenance Worker (Farm Worker I)
• Take care of animals (goat herds and a flock of sheep), including feeding, watering, hoof trimming, disbudding, and administering medications as advised
• Maintain pastures and fences
• Operate equipment in the feed mill
• Mix feed to prepare rations for animals
• Service and maintain machinery
• Move animals using livestock trailers
• Working after hours and during weekends may be required
• Other job-related duties as required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong background in animal husbandry
• Experience in construction and repair of farm fences
• Operation of farm machinery
• Familiarity of feed mill operations
• Valid driver’s license
