Toddler Teacher
• Plan culturally diverse and developmentally appropriate activities for children utilizing the High Scope model
• Provide care and supervision to a group of children between 1 and 2.5 years old
• Participate as a team member in the planning and execution of parenting and other outreach activities for enrolled families
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment for young children and families by modeling appropriate behaviors
• Maintain appropriate and confidential records on children’s progress and other matters
• Carry out in-home visits for children enrolled in assigned group and maintain appropriate records
• Report needs for repairs, maintenance etc. to maintenance worker
• Maintain inventory and order needed supplies
• Perform other tasks as necessary to carry out objectives of program
• A.A. or CDA required, B.S. degree in child development preferred
• Two (2) years experience working with young children
• First Aid/CPR certification must be current or obtained within 3 months of employment
