Middle Grades Education Graduate Program

Master of Science

The Master of Science degree program in Middle Grades Education is designed to assist students in acquiring a broad range of knowledge and skills and a repertoire of specialized teaching skills for students in grades 4 through 8.

The specialized content courses provide instruction in communicative arts, mathematics, science, social sciences, and reading. Field-based instruction is incorporated in over 40 percent of the coursework leading to the degree.

The program is administered through the College of Education.
