New Professor Hired in Rehabilitation Counseling and Case Management

Otha Everett has two callings: he is a man of the cloth and an educator. Everett is pastor at Perry’s Greater Union Baptist Church, and on weekdays, he puts those special pastoral counseling skills to use at Fort Valley State University as assistant professor in Rehabilitation Counseling and Case Management.

“I enjoy working with students who will one day be quality counselors,” Everett said. “The biggest thing is to help them become successful adults. As instructors, we’re here to support students to give them what they need to be successful in this program.”
