CRJU 2001 – REPORT WRITING Section GO1


Course Description –
Students will enhance their writing and communications skills necessary to provide acceptable criminal justice reports. Students will understand some basic principles for report writing and record keeping and will produce written documents that are acceptable by the courts. Students will understand the importance of accurate, fact-based reports and records.

  • CRJU 2000

Course Learning Outcomes –
There are three learning outcomes to this course:

  • The student will develop an understanding of the nature of report writing.
  • The student will also develop and understanding of the mechanics of report writing.
  • We will conclude our discussion with a review of the modernization of report writing.
