What is an Open House?
One of the best ways to learn about Fort Valley State University is to experience our campus during Open House. We think you will find our university in Middle Georgia a place you can call home.
Our open house event includes informational sessions with experts from each undergraduate major, a chance to meet with our deans and professors one-on-one and attend breakout sessions for students and parents to learn more about FVSU. On our tours you will visit Wildcat Commons (the place many of our students call home for four years) and see our beautiful historic academic buildings. We will also make on-site admissions decisions for prospects who provide their SAT/ACT scores and transcripts.
All guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary lunch in our dining hall.
To give you an idea of what to expect during Open House, please find a sample agenda below. We encourage you to RSVP in advance by completing our online registration form below, or calling the Office of Recruitment and Admissions at 478-825-6520 or toll free at 1-877-GO-2-FVSU.
