Please join the College of Education faculty and In-service Teachers explore how digital content is creating new teaching and learning opportunities. You’ll discover how to prepare and inspire students to integrate mobile devices and digital content into teaching and learning from Apple Consultants.


Topics to be explore:


iPad Tips and Tricks – This session demonstrates educational features of the iPad while showing ways to work more efficiently.  Participants are encouraged to bring along their iPads.  The target audience is educational users that are planning to use or have had an iPad for less than a year.




Beyond Textbooks: iBooks Author – This session demonstrates the options for consuming books on iPads and then focuses on the creation of iBooks using the free iBooks Author Tool. The target audience is educational users that are proficient on an iPad and are using or planning to use the device in an educational setting.




Teaching and Learning with iPad –  This session is a demonstration of how iPad, along with compelling apps, iTunes U, and iBooks, can create entirely new, interactive ways to deliver curricular content.
