Fort Valley State University scholars will showcase outstanding scholarship during an annual event that spotlights student research. The campus will host its seventh annual Research Day on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the C.W. Pettigrew Center.
During the morning, students will present research findings in a variety of academic disciplines from FVSU’s three colleges: agriculture, family sciences and technology; arts and sciences; and education.
Student scholars will present research in three different formats: oral, poster and artistic presentations. Students who win the top prizes in their respective disciplines will receive awards during the awards banquet that will begin at 12 p.m.
The deadline for student submissions is 5 p.m., Thursday, March 23.
