“The only person you become is the person you decide to be.” I am Niae Tibbs, I’m your 2017-2018 Student Government Association (SGA) President. It is my honor to serve the student body here at Fort Valley State University.

Congratulations! You have made one the best decisions of many great decision that you will make throughout your life. You have decided to pursue higher education. You didn’t choose just any university, you chose The Fort Valley State University, where your dreams become reality.

The Student Government Association is always working aimlessly to provide an ideal collegiate experience. We are tirelessly working and advocating to meet the expectations and demands of the student body. Campus safety, academic scholarships, and organizational aid funding are only some of the plethora of services that SGA provides.

We must not forget that SGA is an organization where students work for students. Our goal is to ensure our fellow students are of the highest priority. We’ll constantly represent the interest of the student body and in doing so we will ensure you’re wildcat experience is dynamic.

As SGA president I will uphold the pride and tradition of our beloved institution. I will abide by our constitutional statutes. I will enforce the policies implemented by you, the most influential factors on the campus. I will faithfully execute the responsibilities as SGA President.
