PAWS Grant

Fort Valley State University has received funds to award to eligible, enrolled students as part of the PAWS Summer School Program.  The FVSU Pandemic Assistance for Wildcat Student (PAWS) program will help cover tuition, fees, meals, textbooks and housing – helping you get the hours you need to get closer to completing your degree.

The maximum award amount may be your direct cost of attendance.

Your authorization is required before any funds will be posted for the summer 2022 semester.

If authorizing PAWS funds to pay towards university charges, funds will be posted to student accounts within three business days and viewable on the Student Account Suite.  Any overpayment will automatically be included in refund processsing starting on June 24, 2022.

If not authorizing PAWS funds to pay towards university charges, the complete PAWS award will be refunded and is scheduled for distribution the week of June 30, 2022.

By accepting the emergency grant, you are acknowledging that if you were previously awarded Finish Line Funding, the Finish Line Funding may be reduced or removed if awarding of the PAWS Grant will create a refund of the Finish Line Funds.
