Trevion Burks is an admissions counselor/recruiter at Fort Valley State University. The native of the  historic city of Cuthbert, Georgia is a proud 2018 graduate of Fort Valley State University. While a student at FVSU, he was active in many organizations, including Black Men with Initiative, Student Government Association, NAACP, Campus Activities Board, TRIO Student Support Services, was a member of the Honor Society. He was also Mister Royal Blue. Prior to attending FVSU, he graduated from Randolph Clay High School, located in Cuthbert, GA and he also was the 2014 recipient of the Georgia Future Educators Scholarship.

Burkes earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from FVSU and is a candidate for a Master of Science degree in clinical mental health.

His favorite quote is “you have not lived today until you done something for someone who can never repay you” by John Bunyan.
