Ornamental Horticulture is one of the nation’s fastest growing industries with an annual volume of more than two billion dollars. Georgia is enjoying a healthy share of this steady growth. Currently, more than 1,300 growers or business people are involved in this activity as either nurserymen, wholesalers, retailers, or landscapers.

Fort Valley State University offers a wide variety of courses in Ornamental Horticulture, providing a solid background for graduating students. Some of these classes include:
