Opportunities for Students in AROTC

  • 4, 3, and 2 year merit based scholarships that can cover the cost of tuition, books, room & board and give a monthly stipend of $300 - $500/ month
  • Develop skills in leadership, time management and planning

  • A chance to challenge themselves mentally and physically and succeed
  • The opportunity to serve the country in the most noble and honorable profession – Military Officer

Scholarship General Eligibility

  1. Be a US Citizen
  2. Be Between 17 and 27 years of age old
  3. Be a High School Graduate or Equivalent
  4. Have a minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.5
  5. Have a minimum 920 SAT or 19 ACT
  6. Have no moral obligations or convictions to prevent: Supporting & defending the US Constitution and Conscientiously bearing arms
  7. Must satisfactorily explain any arrest and or civil conviction

Basic Course -Freshman and Sophomore Level Course

  • No Service Obligation
  • Education that will benefit you in school, civilian occupation and/or military…i.e.-Leadership, Time Management, and Organizing Tasks
  • Opportunities to participate in local & national events, field & adventure training

Advanced Course - Junior and Senior Level Course

  • Committed to joining the Army as a Commissioned Officer upon graduation
  • Attend a Leader’s Assessment Course in the Summer before the senior year
  • Paid a monthly stipend of $450- juniors and $500 – seniors
  • Plan and conduct training for subordinate cadets
