*All check-outs after 6 p.m. on Dec. 8 will be assessed a percentage rate charge per your housing assignment.
ACTIONS TO BE DONE BEFORE LEAVING UNIVERSITY HOUSING:
* Discard all food scraps, etc. and place all rubbish in trash containers.
Apartments require cleaning in the kitchen, stoves, ovens, refrigerators, and restroom areas; close/lock all windows and shut blinds.
* Return all campus property to Residential Life, cafeteria, library, etc.
Check with a R.A. or your Residential Life Coordinator to ensure that your room is checked and is in proper condition before your departure.
All residents living in University Housing will be charged for all trash left in hallways, rooms, apartments, and corridors.
* Students not returning for the Spring 2013 Semester must submit a “Housing Cancellation Form” with supporting documentation no later than Dec. 7. There is no guarantee your cancellation will be approved. All approved cancellations will be subject to the cancellation fee.
***NOTE: SOFT/HARD KEYS MUST BE RETURNED BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR THE BREAK. KEYS NOT RETURNED DURING CHECK-OUT WILL RESULT IN LOST KEYS FINES ON YOUR ACCOUNT AND A $65 IMPROPER CHECKOUT FINE! FINES WILL NOT BE REMOVED IF KEYS ARE RETURNED AFTER CHECK-OUT!
*With the exception of Moore Hall, residents will not have to take all of their belongings home during the Christmas Break; however, we encourage all residents to take all valuable items home such as computers, video games, expensive clothes, jewelry, etc.

***Residential Halls re-open on January 4, 2013 @ 9 a.m. for Returning Students***
