Dear Students:

On behalf of the Student Government Association, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Fort Valley State University. I applaud you for making the choice to pursue your higher education career at this distinguished institution of higher learning. During your tenure at FVSU, you will be faced with many challenges, but what you take from this experience will enable you to be successful in your desired field of study and life.

The SGA acts as the voice of the student body, and we represent the student’s opinion through membership on various university committees. We also serve as a central agency at which students may express any suggestions for the enhancement of the university.

Again, welcome to FVSU and please don’t hesitate to take advantage of the opportunity presented to you. Always remember that SGA is here to serve you as you embark on your journey. As our motto states, we are “STUDENTS WORKING FOR STUDENTS!”
