Fully on-line courses are charged at a rate of $189.00 per credit hour for undergraduate students and $219.00 per credit hour for graduate students. Courses that are offered through Georgia ONmyLINE are charged at a rate of $189.00 per credit hour. Students enrolled in all on-line courses are required to pay the Student Center/Multi-Use Fee and the Institutional Fee. Tuition charges for online courses are separate from tuition charges for campus based courses.
Technology Fee The Technology Fee is a mandatory fee charged to all students. This fee supports the cost of a 24-hour student computer lab located on the main campus, off-campus lab(s) or computer access, help desk services, supplies, card access to labs and other student supported technology services. Health Fee This fee supports health education and infirmary services for students Activity Fee Allocation of funds collected by this fee is determined by a student committee. Designations include intramural sports, speakers, student organizations, publications, band and choir, etc. Athletics Fee This fee supports the men’s and women’s varsity athletic programs including football, basketball, tennis, track and field, and women’s softball. Student Center Fee This fee is charged to all students. It supports financing of the Student Center/Stadium. The facility provides recreations, social, and study areas for students enrolled at the University. Transportation Fee This fee supports the campus transit service in support of FVSU’s mission to provide a safe and stable environment. This service provides transportation to various locations surrounding FVSU. Institutional Fee This fee is charged to all students and was established by the USG Board of Regents. Lab Fee This fee is charged for any course with a supervised laboratory section at a rate of $50.00 per course section. Wildcat Cash Fee This mandatory fee is required for all full-time, undergraduate students not residing on campus who are enrolled in campus based courses. This is a per semester fee to be used for food purchases at various campus venues (Chick-fil-a, Quiznos, Jazzman Café’, Papa Johns, etc.) Orientation Fee This fee is charged to all undergraduate students during their first semester of attendance Late Payment This fee is charges to all students that do not pay their balance before the first day of class. Reinstatement Fee This fee is charged to all students that are removed from the class rosters due to failure to pay and are subsequently reinstated.

A waiver of mandatory fees may be granted to Georgia residents who are active members of the U.S. Military Reserves and/or the Georgia National Guard and were deployed overseas for active service in a location or locations designated by the U.S. Department of Defense as combat zones on or after September 11, 2001 and served for a consecutive period of one hundred and eighty-one (181) days, or who received full disability as a result of injuries received in such combat zone or were evacuated from such combat zone due to severe injuries during any period of time while on active service.
Senior Citizen Waiver
A waiver of tuition may be granted to Georgia residents aged 62 and over as of the first day of class in a semester. Return the completed waiver form to the Office of Student Financial Services, Troup Administration Building, Suite 234, along with supporting documentation for review. A new application must be completed annually.
