Admission Requirements for Dual Enrollment Students

Fort Valley State University evaluates students' GPAs based on the Required High School Curriculum (RHSC) course units. 
  • To be admitted high school juniors and seniors must have a minimum 3.0 GPA based on the in-progress RHSC units. 
  • High school juniors and seniors must be on-track to high school graduation. 

Test scores are no longer required for high juniors and seniors to be admitted to FVSU as dual enrollment students.

Step 2: Submit Your Official Transcript.

Option 1: Submit your official transcript with GAfutures. 

Your counselor or school administrator can share your official transcript via GAfutures.org.  Simply send them a request through the platform to get the process started. 

Option 2: Submit your official transcripts via Mail or Email. 

Your school counselor or administrator can send your official transcripts via email or mail. To have your school counselor or administrator send us an email, have them send the email to admissions@fvsu.edu. 

To have your school counselor or administrator send your official transcripts via mail, they must be sent in a sealed envelope to the following address:

Step 3: Complete the Georgia Futures Dual Enrollment Funding Application.

Secure funding for your classes by completing the GAfutures Dual Enrollment Funding Application. Dual Enrollment students do not need to complete the FAFSA. Ensure you fill out the application thoroughly.
