Welcome to the webpage for the Fort Valley State University Office of Institutional Research, Planning and Effectiveness (OIRPE). It is our expectation to offer high quality and timely services in carrying out objectives to (1) develop and implement institutional effectiveness plans, including support for the assessment of learning outcomes; (2) assist academic, administrative and support units with the assessment of core services consistent with institutional effectiveness and accreditation requirements; (3) facilitate the strategic planning process; and (4) provide standard institutional data and respond to all institutional data requests from internal and external customers. We desire to more fully integrate the office into the daily operations of the university—giving emphasis to the basics of continuous quality improvement and the use of proven quality improvement methods and models in serving and meeting the needs of our students and the general public.
