In many respects, Geography is the foundation on which economic production and social relationships have existed and will continue to exist.  Moreover, now that global warming is of great concern in the world, Geography offers the opportunity to understand climatic issues and other problems affecting the global environment.

Courses that could be selected as minor are contained undergraduate catalog. Any 15 credit hours of Geography courses (including the  prerequisites listed in the catalog) will meet the minimum requirements for a minor in Geography.

The FVSU Minor in Geography is administered through the Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences. For major and minor requirements, please visit the department’s Degree Maps page.
