  • Geologic field trips designed, taught & field guide books developed: Grand Canyon, Stone Mountain (1995 – Present)

ADVISING & MENTORING
(1995–Present)



  • Designed individual student’s 3 year (and 2 year) program of study to complete a BS degree (Math, Chem or Bio) at FVSU with all prerequisites completed for transfer for their 2nd BS degree (Geoscience, Engineering, or Health Physics) at a partner university

  • Improved the dual degree student graduation rate at FVSU from 50% to 100% by individualized monitoring and mentoring


DIVERSITY & INCLUSION



  • My work in implementation of dual degree program of study through advising, close monitoring and mentoring has resulted in ~150 dual STEM degree academically talented minority graduates:

    • 90 Mathematicians

    • 50 Chemists

    • 10 Biologists (FVSU)

    • 40 Geoscientists

    • 32 Engineers

    • 8 Petroleum Engineers

    • 7 Health Physicists (partnering universities).



  • My teaching of high school students starting at 9th grade have played a significant role in recruiting 13 geoscientists (MSEA)
