CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT

1985:

• Developed and implemented Consolidated Research Methods Course that could be cross-listed among all social science departments.
• Developed and implemented a computer literacy course, Understanding computers (CJA617) for law enforcement officials.

1986: Developed and implemented graduate level statistics (CJA507) to benefit both masters and     doctoral students in criminal justice and sociology.

1987: Developed and implemented advanced statistics  (CJA 703) courses to benefit both masters and     doctoral students in criminal justice and sociology.

1992: Participated in president’s task force on criminal justice program to develop short-term and long-    term goals of the criminal justice department at CAU.  Dr. George Napper chaired this task force.

1992-93: Restructured the curriculum for master’s degree in criminal justice with the assistance of the new     faculty to make it comparable with other programs throughout the nation. Developed and implemented the curriculum for undergraduate program in criminal justice.

1995-96: Developed the curriculum for undergraduate program in criminal justice at Alabama A&M University.

Fall 1996: Helped establishing Criminal Justice Department and developed the curriculum for Master’s Program in Andhra University, India.

2002-03: Assisted Fulton County Juvenile Court Probation Department in establishing a Research and Evaluation Department, and, data recording and management system.

2010: Developed minor in Sociology at FVSU, GA.

2014: Completed Substantive Change Report for Sociology concentration in Criminal Justice Program and submitted to the dean of CAS on June 20, 2014.

2015: Developed minor in Gerontology at FVSU, GA.
