What is FVSUniverse?

The Office of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management is happy to announce FVSUniverse. The FVSUniverse is a digital universe that paves the way for Fort Valley State University to have a technology-centered culture that will enhance our students’ academic experiences.
FVSUniverse will include several programs, projects, opportunities, and new technology. 

New Apple iPad, keyboard, Apple pencil and case

The iPads will allow incoming Freshmen to use digital textbooks, engage interactively in the classroom and gain experience with the latest mobile technologies to prepare them for the modern workforce. 

Wildcat Book Bundle

The Wildcat Book Bundle provides students with their required digital course materials at the start of each semester. The Wildcat Book Bundle allows our campus to reduce student course materials costs compared to traditional print text.

Knack Tutoring

Knack is a peer-to-peer tutoring platform that provides an opportunity for a more personalized, equitable, and accessible support experience for every student, from freshman through senior year. Knack also allows interested students to be paid for tutoring others.

P.A.W.S. (Preparing All Wildcats for Success) App

P.A.W.S. is all about Wildcat’s success! The app allows all students to engage with academic advisors, faculty, and other staff, creating a truly coordinated network to support them.

FAB LAB

Through generous support from Chevron and The Fab Foundation, FVSU will officially open a state-of-the-art digital fabrication lab (Fab Lab) intended for use by students and the community. The lab will be equipped with 21st Century fabrication tools - laser cutters, 3D printers, computer numerical control (CNC), and embroidery machines. This is an opportunity to create anything our scholars can imagine!
