FORT VALLEY, Ga. – With the minutes ticking by until the 2019 gridiron season, the Wildcats preseason position competitions have been fierce. The Fort Valley State veteran quarterbacks of Slade Jarman, Garrel Quainton and Demontay Jones have been competing on the field, but building some fun chemistry off the practice field in their preparations.
The three Wildcats senior quarterbacks see the Tuesday (Aug. 27) as the final double-digit days until Saturday, Sept. 7, in the season-opener against defending Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champion Miles College. The FVSU kick-off against Miles is set for 6 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium.
