FVSU Student Recognized by Board of Regents for Scholastic Achievements

The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia honored students from each of the system’s 26 public colleges and universities during its annual Academic Recognition Day. Each student best represents the system’s highest academic achievements, as selected by their institutions. These students have a high GPA, strive for excellence, and have the ability to share knowledge in various areas of expertise. Academic Recognition Day began 35 years ago to celebrate Georgia students’ academic success.

The honorees for 2023 included Elisha Cloy. Cloy is a Family and Consumer Science major from Bethesda, Maryland, with a 4.0 GPA. She has excelled in academics and community service and has received several scholarships. Her list of accolades includes:
