FVSU Students are "Tied to Greatness"

Posted on Aug 26, 2018

Alex Ellis Tied to GreatnessDr. Alex Ellis brought his internationally acclaimed "Tied to Greatness" workshop to FVSU during New Student Orientation Week, helping over 100 new freshmen men learn the importance of professional dress and appearance. During the workshop, students discussed the impact of image on career prospects, from corporate environments to entrepreneurial negotiations and customer relationships. The event climaxed with a tie-tying workshop, during which many students learned how to tie a tie for the first time, aided by administrators and student orientation leaders. The workshop was part of events designed to help new students get a jump start on professionalism even before their first day of classes.
