The FVSU Family and Consumer Sciences Cooperative Extension Program serves hundreds of people throughout Georgia every year.
Cooperative Extension Family & Consumer Sciences (FCS) delivers research-based educational programs that improves the quality of life for individuals, families and communities. The program seeks to identify unexpressed needs affecting individual and family well-being, and improve abilities to understand and adapt to social change by exploring solutions which most effectively deal with identified problems and concerns. Our family and consumer sciences extension program educate Georgians on current issues affecting their daily lives. Programs focus on six main subject areas.
