Residency Policy

• Full-time students under 21 with fewer than 60 credits must live on campus and have a meal plan.
• Students 21+ by the first day of class may be exempt.
• Exemptions are available for commuters in specific counties or online students.

Submit all exemption documentation for review.

Important Summer 2025 Dates

• May 20: Move-in at 9:00 AM
• May 20: Meal plans start at Noon
• May 21: Classes begin
• May 21: Last day to cancel housing/meal plans
• June 11: Summer B housing closes / Summer C opens
• June 19: Juneteenth – Housing open, University closed
• July 4: Independence Day – Housing open
• July 16: Classes end
• July 19: Housing/meal service ends

Fall 2025 Date

• July 31, 2025- Last day for Housing Cancellations 
• August 2: Payment deadline — classes dropped at 5 PM for nonpayment
• August 4 & 5, 2025 -University Housing opens for New Students (By Appointed Schedule)
• August 4, 2025- Meal Plans start at 12:00 (Noon) for lunch
• August 7 – August 8, 2025- University Housing opens for Returning Students (By Appointed Schedule)
• August 11, 2025- Classes start (A & B) and the last day for meal plan changes
• October 1, 2025- University Housing closes for students enrolled in Session B Only
• October 3, 2025- University Housing opens for students enrolled in Session C Only
• November 22, 2025- University Housing closes at 12:00 pm (Noon) 
• November 24-28, 2025- Fall and Thanksgiving Break (University Closed)
• November 30, 2025- University Housing reopens at 8:00 am
