Sergeant Bernice Albertine Flowers is a terminal agency coordinator with Fort Valley State University Campus Police.  Sgt. Flowers supervises the university’s police communication officers, including entering records, queries and complying with GCIC and NCIC rules and guidelines. Before coming to FVSU Campus Police, Flowers served as a communication officer with the Crawford County Sheriff Office for seven years.

In addition to her current service as terminal agency coordinator and communications officer’s supervisor, Flower’s tenure at FVSU has included roles in records, parking, decals and citations. Flowers ensures the department is in compliance with state and federal policies, regulations and laws established by GCIC, the FBI’s CJIS Division and Nlets. Flowers responsibilities include adherence to GCIC/FBI CJIS validation program procedures for specified Georgia and FBI CJIS records. She is part of the department’s command staff.

Flower’s earned her certification as a basic communications officer and a terminal agency coordinator as well as many other certifications from Georgia Public Training Center. She is currently working towards her associate’s degree at Central Georgia Technical College in Warner Robins, GA.
