Students, family members, and guests are invited to attend Fort Valley State University's Spring 2026 Commencement exercises on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. We want to extend our congratulations to the graduating students and their families on this momentous occasion.

Tickets are NOT required to enter Wildcat Stadium for Commencemnt.
Inclement Weather: All graduates will be issued tickets for this reason. In the case of inclement weather, Commencement will take place in HPE and tickets will be required to enter HPE. Children aged 3 years and younger do not require tickets. The FVSU Clear Bag Policy will be enforced.

Cap and Gown Information
Caps and gowns can be purchased at Herff Jones
Deadline: March 20, 2026 (11:59 p.m. EST)
Final rush deadline: April 10, 2026

Important Dates
- Rehearsal: Friday, May 8, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. (Wildcat Stadium)
- Commencement: Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.
- Line-up: 8:15 a.m. at HPE Complex
- Processional: Begins promptly at 9:00 a.m.
Graduation Clearance
Thursday, May 7, 2026 (2:00–4:00 p.m.)
Banquet Room, Jones Student Amenities Center
Honor cords for GPA 3.25+
Financial & Loan Requirements
- Clear all balances with Bursar
- Complete exit counseling
Dress Code
- Females: Black/dark attire, low heels
- Males: White shirt, black tie
Photography
Submit reader card by May 2
Arrival & Parking
- Enter via Ira Hicks Blvd
- Park in HPE lot
