Accepted

Congratulations New Wildcat! We are excited to welcome you into the FVSU family, and that means accepting your talents, hopes and dreams as our own. Please take these next steps to make your acceptance official.

1. Activate Your FVSU Account

Your MyFVSU account is how you will stay in touch with the university. Here, you will receive your official Wildcat email address and updates about your enrollment, housing, and other important areas.

2. Confirm Your Acceptance

We need you to officially “accept your acceptance” so that we can make plans for your enrollment. Please confirm your Intent to Enroll using the form below.

3. Get Help in Paying for College

You may need assistance in paying for your college expenses through federal grants and loans in addition to scholarships and other types of aid. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and find out how FVSU processes your aid.

4. Come to an Enrollment 101 Session

All new undergraduate and transfer students must attend an Enrollment 101 session, where you will learn more about registering for classes, housing, advising, and other important information for new students.

5. Apply to Live on Campus

You must live on campus unless you are at least 21 years old or have earned 60 credit hours. Student apartments and rooms are assigned based on when you apply. There is a non-refundable $200 reservation fee when you apply. New students can choose their room assignment shortly after the housing application and reservation fee are received.

6. Submit Your Residence and Immunization Documents

The state of Georgia requires all public college students to verify that they are living in the state legally, called “lawful presence,” and FVSU also needs proof that you have received all the necessary immunizations. Learn more:

• Review Lawful Presence requirements here.
• Download FVSU Immunization Form here.

Send documents via email to admissions@fvsu.edu or mail to the address below:
